SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
*All abstracts must be submitted electronically through the Congress Website.
*Abstracts will be accepted in English only.
*Abstracts should not exceed 500 words in length.
*Tables and graphs/photos may be submitted; each will count as 100 words.
*There will be no limits on the number of abstracts you can submit and there will be no fees associated with submission of an abstract.
*A preference for Poster or Oral Presentation must be indicated at the time of submission.

**DRESS CODE
As most of our delegates who attend our sessions prefer to wear business / smart casual clothing , we especially request from our speakers to wear a formal dress during the sessions.

The Kyrgyz Republic is a sovereign state in Central Asia. Kyrgyzstan is a landlocked country with mountainous terrain. It borders Kazakhstan to the north, Uzbekistan to the west and southwest, Tajikistan to the southwest, and China to the east. The capital and largest city is Bishkek.

About 94 percent of Kyrgyzstan is mountainous, with roughly half the area above 1,500 meters above sea level. Of this, 41 percent is in the harsh highlands, located above 3,000 meters. Much of the mountainous region is permanently covered in ice and snow, and glaciers make up approximately 4 percent of the country’s territory. Lowland areas include the Chui-Talas Valley near the northern border with Kazakhstan and the Fergana Valley near the southwestern border with Uzbekistan. Issyk-Kul, the world’s second-largest crater lake, is located in the northeast, with a surface area of 6,236 square kilometers.

In Kyrgyzstan, power outlets use C and F standards, which is the same that you will find in Europe. The voltage is also the same, with 220 volts, 50 hertz. You should not have any problems charging your phone or camera.

In Bishkek, the summers are hot, dry, and mostly clear and the winters are freezing, snowy, and partly cloudy. Over the course of the year, the temperature typically varies from 17°F to 89°F and is rarely below 6°F or above 97°F.

The Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS) is the main currency of Kyrgyzstan. The som is used every day in shops, banks, and also for trade with other countries. It is a big part of life for people in Kyrgyzstan. Exchanging Kyrgyzstani Som is easy, especially if you are in Bishkek or any other large city. Licensed exchange offices and banks in Kyrgyzstan can help you swap foreign currency like USD for KGS. Make sure to have valid ID with you when you use a bank for this service.

US dollars (USD) can be used in some places in Kyrgyzstan, mostly in Bishkek. But for most things you buy, you will need the Kyrgyzstani Som (KGS). This is even more true when you are out of the city in other parts of Kyrgyzstan. It is best to change your USD to Kyrgyzstani Som at a bank or at an official place that does money exchange.
